The LLQP is a modular course with an end-of-module test for each module and a final exam covering all course material. The course was designed to reflect the content and examination requirements set out within the provincial regulators’ curriculum document.
To continuously improve the licensing examination, the provincial insurance regulators have advised that they will include a small number of pilot questions on each examination. The time allotted for the examination takes these questions into consideration. Note that the calculation of your final mark will not include your score on the pilot questions.
Note: The provincial LLQP examination is an open book format, and all candidates will be provided with an electronic copy of the modules at the exam centre.
Upon successful completion of all modules plus the final exam, you will be able to download a Notice of Course Completion through your student profile. This notice will remain on your profile as a formal indication of course completion.
CSI will enter your results into CIPR (the insurance regulator’s national registry of individuals that confirms final examination results) the next business day after you have successfully completed your course. Once your successful results are entered into CIPR, you may apply with your provincial regulator to write the appropriate examination(s). Students will be provided with details on how to register with CIPR upon enrolment.
