Elevated to the role of Director of Operations, Andrew managed the delivery of learning materials and examinations to a cohort of 50,000 learners annually, orchestrating complex logistical operations to ensure seamless access to learning resources for a wide audience. Moving into the position of Senior Director of Operations and Technology, he optimized efficiency and technological advancement to support the robust Canadian arm of Moody’s Learning Solutions, and in his most recent role as Senior Director of Moody’s Learning Solutions, Andrew led the stewardship of the global curriculum and faculty, a testament to his visionary approach in leading the Moody’s global Learning Solutions business towards new heights.

Annerly leads the Customer Success team and Project Management Office for Learning Solutions, overseeing the global delivery of learning solutions, enhancing client experiences, and contributing to global strategy effectively to expand subscription services to the broader market. Her teams excel in fostering enduring partnerships, playing a critical role in the successful execution of both strategic initiatives and client-centric projects, and maintaining our commitment to delivering world-class learning solutions.

Prior to her tenure at Moody’s, Annerly embarked on a distinguished 21-year journey in Commercial Banking at SEB, a premier Scandinavian bank stationed in London. With a 6-year tenure in relationship management, she skillfully oversaw relationships with multinational corporations across various sizes, and a decade-long leadership role as the UK Head of Implementation and Internet Banking. In these capacities, Annerly was instrumental in streamlining the onboarding process for new clients and ensuring that UK product development seamlessly integrated into the global roadmap.

Since embarking on his journey with Moody’s in 2007, Ben has contributed significantly in various capacities within the Learning Solutions team, spearheading large-scale learning projects for premier global banks. His tenure from 2016 to 2022 in Singapore marked a period of notable growth, during which he successfully expanded our portfolio throughout the region.

She is well-versed in conceptualizing and launching product marketing initiatives that enhance brand resonance to reach fresh audience demographics, while providing a more nuanced understanding of market perception and feedback. Tara Kapitan

Head of Development

Tara orchestrates the content and product evolution of all eLearning courses and associated exams, ensuring they align with the strategic vision outlined by the product strategy team. Her commitment guarantees that the integrity and user experience of eLearning products not only meet but surpass customer expectations. Tara also spearheads software development, guiding the creation of proprietary applications, such as Credit Coach, and facilitating seamless integrations with third-party platforms.

With a tenure exceeding a decade at Moody’s, Tara has navigated through diverse roles encompassing eLearning, product development, project management, cybersecurity, and technology. She has been instrumental in harmonizing the integration processes for companies joining the Moody’s family through acquisitions. Tara’s expertise, however, extends beyond her tenure at Moody’s. She has amassed a wealth of experience in various training capacities, including design, facilitation, exam development, and project management, collaborating with esteemed organizations such as CSI Global Education, BlackBerry, Sysco Foods, and Spring-Miller-Systems.

Adrian Lake

Regulatory Relations & Credentialing Policy

Adrian is responsible for regulatory affairs at CSI and ensures that products and services meet the requirements of the financial industry and regulators. Adrian is also CSI’s liaison with the Securities Commissions and other regulators, including CIRO, the Ontario Securities Commission, and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario.

Prior to joining CSI, Adrian worked as a regulatory project manager in the capital markets industry and in retail banking business controls. He has extensive experience in developing and operating regulatory compliance programs, which included the global corporate banking loan book transition from LIBOR and the implementation of MiFID II compliance in the UK. Adrian was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019. He has Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor, both from Dalhousie University.

Marise Pimenta

Head of Operations

Marise spearheads Global Operations across a diverse geographical spectrum including APAC, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Her extensive career within the Moody’s organization began in 2001 when she joined the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), and she has excelled in various operational roles, notably leading the expansion of Learning Solutions’ largest team to include 34 committed staff members, showcasing her leadership and capacity to foster growth.

Beyond her comprehensive oversight of client operations, Marise’s role extends into the contractual sphere. She is responsible for vendor management, ensuring third-party vendors align with client operations to meet high standards, and collaborates closely with our billing and finance teams to enhance transparency and ensure informed decision-making. Marise’s commitment to operational efficiency and elevating the client experience underscore her strategic approach to global operations. Prior to joining Moody’s, she contributed her expertise as an IT Service Manager at PowerGen, a leading British Utility Company. Marise’s decision to immigrate to Canada marked the beginning of a new chapter in her professional life, leading to her significant contributions to the Moody’s organization.
