Moody’s Small Business Lending course is specifically designed with small business lenders in mind. Through a combination of innovative online learning tools, students will gain the knowledge they need to guide small business owners in the financial aspects of their operations. Students will gain the knowledge and confidence required to:
Additionally, the course assesses the lender’s ability to work through a real business lending scenario through a practical simulation of the full application, analysis, and decision process.

Market Risk Assessment
Management Risk Assessment
The course is taught online and is composed of 15 modules representing the topics of study. Each module consists of:
Simulation exercise: The simulation assesses the lenders’ ability to apply what they’d learned by working through a real business lending scenario. You are required to gather data, analyze credit risk and recommend a loan decision and structure, and then compare your decisions and recommendations with those of an expert.
Upon completion of Moody’s Small Business Lending course, learners will gain a deeper understanding of businesses and their borrowing needs, evaluate risks, and make good credit decisions.
