The Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO) has proposed changes to its proficiency rules including changes to the current mandatory courses offered by the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI). Under these proposed rules, subject to approval by the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), CIRO will be moving towards an assessment centric proficiency model for Approved Persons of Investment Dealers. The Chief Financial Officer Qualifying Examination (CFO) course prepares you for a career as a CFO with a CIRO investment dealer. The course is designed to ensure you can demonstrate the required level of proficiency for financial reporting rules with a CIRO investment dealer. You’ll gain a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and be prepared for your Chief Financial Officers Qualifying Exam. The CFO Qualifying Examination course is available exclusively through CSI.
